Congratulations Ariel Wright Creation Station New Franchisee of the Year

Ariel - Winner of Best New Franchisee 2025 The Creation Station

Hi my name is Ariel, and I am here to inspire imaginations. I am originally from NYC but I moved to Oxfordshire about five years ago. With a BFA in Fine Arts and Art History, I’ve had some fun designing luxury rugs, working with galleries, and even showcasing my own art. I’ve taught English, collaborated with well-known artists in NYC, and explored the digital wellness world. I’m also a certified yoga instructor, where I love blending creativity with a mindful, balanced approach to life.

Why I decided to run my own Creation Station… I decided to run my own Creation Station because I’m absolutely fascinated by the magic that happens when people let their imaginations run wild! There’s something truly inspiring about watching ideas come to life, and I’ve always dreamed of hosting fun, creative events where people can make art, share stories, and build a vibrant, crafty community. Plus, I’m a bit of a craft addict myself—I’m always picking up new hobbies (probably more than I should, but who’s counting?), so this is the perfect way to dive headfirst into the creative chaos!

What I did before I ran my own Creation Station…  Before starting my Creation Station adventure, I’ve been lucky to follow some fun, creative paths. I earned a BFA in Fine Arts and Art History from FIT in NYC, which led me to design rugs for luxury brands like Chanel and Louis Vuitton, working in both NYC and Melbourne. I also spent time in galleries, collaborating with artists and even showcasing some of my own pieces. Along the way, I picked up certificates in English and yoga teaching, and I’ve taught students from Spain, China, Japan, and Taiwan—which was such a rewarding experience!

Most recently, I’m a digital producer for a wellness company in NYC, where I wear many hats, from managing digital production to handling music licensing. On the side, I love getting creative by giving upcycled clothing a fresh spin with playful screen printing and painting. Creativity has always been at the heart of everything I do!

What I love about running my own Creation Station… What I think I will love about running my own Creation Station is being able to see both kids and adults let their imaginations run wild, creating things they didn’t even know they could. It will be amazing to watch their pride and excitement when they see what they’ve brought to life! That sense of joy and accomplishment is contagious, and it will make the whole experience so rewarding.
